Key Responsibilities
As Team Leader – SME, you will play a strategic role in business development, customer management, and credit processing within the SME division. Your major responsibilities will include:
✅ Business Development & Relationship Building
-
Achieve business targets across SME, Commercial, and Corporate segments, especially SBP scheme financing.

Onboard new clients while strengthening existing relationships.
-
Explore new business opportunities in both funded and non-funded products.
✅ Customer-Centric Financial Advisory
-
Offer financial advice and tailored credit solutions to clients.
-
Ensure cross-selling of deposit products, cash management solutions, and other banking services.
✅ Portfolio Management & Recovery
-
Prevent the addition of non-performing loans (NPLs) and reduce existing NPLs.
-
Visit clients regularly to ensure timely recovery of dues, aiming for 90%+ collection in the first 30 days of the quarter.
✅ Risk & Compliance
-
Ensure full compliance with SBP regulations and internal credit procedures.

Properly screen customers to determine eligibility and assess risk.
✅ Credit Proposal & Documentation

Oversee the preparation, analysis, and renewal of credit proposals.

Conduct financial assessments in line with SBP Prudential Regulations and BOP’s internal policies.

Meet defined Turnaround Times (TATs) for credit approvals.
✅ Customer Experience & Fair Banking

Promote fair and inclusive banking practices, with special attention to vulnerable customer groups.

Ensure timely communication of changes in terms and conditions.
✅ Monitoring & Reporting
-
Ensure timely compliance of post-disbursement formalities, including DAC issuance.

Keep records updated with insurance, valuation, and audit reports.

Submit business visit reports regularly.
Eligibility Criteria
-
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a local/foreign university recognized by HEC.

Candidates with a Master’s degree will be given preference.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of banking experience, including at least 5 years in SME or related areas.

Age Limit: Up to 55 years as of June 27, 2025.
